Burnaby Basement – Cheshire
In this Burnaby basement renovation, we truly maximized the potential of the space. We started by completely removing all the existing finishes. Starting with a fresh slate, we built a new gourmet kitchen with quartz countertops, built-in appliances, pot filler, tons of large pullout drawers and designer lighting. An extended countertop makes it a perfect gathering area.
In the family room we installed a sleek linear gas fireplace that adds warmth and ambiance to the space, accompanied by built in cabinets and floating shelves with recessed LED light strips. A custom oak mantle and tiled surround makes it a beautiful focal point.
In the dining area, we built a custom banquette with storage inside to hide any excess belongings.
A stylish bathroom with walk in shower finishes the suite perfectly, creating a contemporary and cozy home.
Coquitlam Home – Girard
This Coquitlam home was in desperate need of a major renovation. The home had been rented for 30 years and was severely distressed. The owner was retiring and wanted to sell the property but no buyer would touch it in it’s poor condition. He trusted our team to transform the entire home. We demolished every surface in the home and started from scratch.
In the kitchen, we installed new fresh white shaker cabinets with a stylish picket tile backsplash and accented it with natural wood that complimented the floors. The goal was to sell the house and therefore create a kitchen that anyone would love.
The bathroom renovations were the most transformative. In the main bathroom we split the plumbing to accommodate a custom vanity with double undermount sinks. A new tub and shower surrounded by contemporary tile make it the perfect kids bathroom. Bright, functional, stylish and durable…features that are a must in a family home.
In the master ensuite, we strived to maximize the space in it’s narrow bathroom. We achieved this by installing a beautiful floating vanity and clear glass shower along with brighter designer lights making the small room feel bright and airy.
A sleek electric fireplace and beautiful light flooring make the living room feel cozy and private during winter nights but bright and modern when entertaining.
Coquitlam Basement – Talbot
The homeowner Denis bought the home with the intention of finishing the basement so that his daughter’s family could live upstairs and him and his wife could live downstairs. Since he was going to be living in the basement suite in his retired years he had some very important needs. He trusted Accurite with task.
We started with a large but completely unfinished basement. Nothing but studs and cement. We upgraded all the homes HVAC services and cleaned up any old electrical. A massive 20’ trench needed to be carved out of the cement slab so that we could run plumbing for a kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. We met all his requirements for accessibility by install 36” doorways, soft touch cabinets and even custom height plugs to minimize bending down.
In the end, our design team created a large, bright and beautiful basement suite with a full kitchen, 3 pc. Bathroom with walk-in shower, laundry room, formal living room, tv/family room and even an office space.
Coquitlam Bathroom – Westwood Plateau
This beautiful Westwood Plateau home was in desperate need of a bathroom renovation. The goal was to create a seamless transition from the master bedroom, to the ensuite and straight into an adjacent bedroom which was converted into a massive walk in closet!
Inspired by the owner’s Manhattan upbringing, we designed the space with some flair. The black vanity with brushed gold accents is perfectly complimented by the black and gold herringbone tiled walk-shower. A curbless entry and frameless glass surround make it an easy breezy place to start the day of fresh. In addition, lighted mirrors and a lowered vanity station make it a perfect place to apply make-up when getting ready.
We opened the wall to the adjacent bedroom and created a direct walkway into the new custom walk-in closet. We installed a barn door on the opposite side to allow a straight path from bedroom to bathroom to closet and back.
